• Tips about GSW56TB:

 

 

1. If you want to use this monitor, you have to connect power source and provide a signal source at the same time(your PC, laptop, PS4 console, etc.) for it. The middle USB-C port is for touch function, the first USB-C port is for power. And touch function is not supported by Mac OS.
2. If you want to use touch function, your mobile devices should in Type-c port and support video output via Type-c port. If your PC or laptop only has HDMI port, and your system is Windows7 or above, to use touch function when connected via HDMI port, you need three cables: one HDMI to mini HDMI cable(included), two USB-A to USB-C cables(only one included).
3. If you plan to use this with a laptop, please check if your laptop has a USB 3.0 or a USB Type C port. If not you will need to connect your laptop to the monitor via the HDMI port. Some computers have low power USB ports. If this is the case the monitor will not be able to pull enough power from the port and an external power supply will need to be used.
4. Touch function is unavailable when connecting with game consoles. If you only connect power supply but no signal source connected, the screen will only show the "G-STORY" LOGO for several seconds then remains black after turned on. (Note: This monitor is incompatible with Thunderbolt port)

• IMPORTANT SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

1. In order to use touchscreen functions or single-cable power-data use, connected device (including smartphones and tablets) must support DisplayPort over Alternative Mode (DP ALT-MODE). Check with your device manufacturer to determine compatibility. (Most newer phones, from Samsung’s Galaxy and Note series to the Honor/Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro line, are compatible.
2. A second USB-C connection to an external power supply can alleviate any issues caused by low power, including screen “blinks” and low brightness. compatible with USB PD 2.0 power supply; supports 5V / 9V / 12V / 15V / 20V input. Check with the mobile manufacturer to determine compatibility.
3. Mac OS supports DP ALT-MODE; however, Mac OS DOES NOT support touchscreen functionality. As a result, touchscreen functionality WILL NOT work on Mac OS devices. This is a restriction only Apple can correct in future OS updates.
